Whistling Forest Tutorial: And how to win at it by JINKS...
Warning: The games are difficult in the order of the game menu. Making childs play the easiest and Whistling Forest the hardest of the hard.
No pencil. Set unsure as default in the options menu will help. If pieces turn out to be wrong you can chain them into place. "On return to my newspaper" is an extreme example of this gameplay.
No pucks need to be unlocked. But you will want to control open decks.
Mark pucks unsure by double clicking the pieces. To control the unlocks. Double click unsure pucks to make them sure again and if it completes a row, enclosure, column it will unlock.
Keep a close eye on the deck and work out which pucks you need to get out ASAP.
Worked Example to go with flash film.
This is hard to explain because without pencil so much of the game is in the mind. You can watch the mouse pointer which I used to give some insight into my thoughts.
The play keeps to same pattern. I keep working out the SuDoku because I forget it.
I play any easy pucks and use tiny chains to keep up pucks I like in the shooter.
I try to get unlocks stored by using thought clouds.
I also use thought clouds to mark unsure pucks I am UNSURE about.
The flash film has play and rewind controls. Film also available as windows media(.avi) download. (This file won't work on a PocketPC Media Player so use it on your destop or get BetaPlayer PocketTV etc.)
